Sea Cheetah's decentralized hydrogen generation method addresses widespread supply chain and pricing challenges and recognizes that conventional pathways of generating “green” hydrogen may not be feasible in most coastal and, in particular, island locations.
Our unique integrated Hydrogen Fueling System (HFS™) uses the available localized resources for production of green hydrogen that fuels Sea Cheetah’s WIGE Vessels.
Hydrogen will be either generated at H2Hub™, or replenished via delivery by Sea Cheetah's own hydrogen fueling vessels.
Replenishment can also be done by third party hydrogen-powered vessels as part of Sea Cheetah partners' supply chain to multiple locations (keeping Scope 3 Emissions low).
To achieve the availability of green hydrogen at point of use, we have developed the H2Hub™. These are
“Pit Stops” for Sea Cheetah’s Refueling and Replenishment Operations, receiving on site produced green hydrogen into their compression tanks as they moor alongside the H2Hub™.
As much as Wing-and-Ground Effect vessels look like aircraft, they are certified
or regulated by marine authorities, such as US Coast Guard (and other maritime authorities), based on the International Maritime Organization (IMO) 2018 global regulatory framework (https://wwwcdn.imo.org/localresources/en/OurWork/Safety/Documents/MSC.1-CIRC.1592.pdf)
Wing-in-Ground-Effect vessels require a MARINE CAPTAIN license and not an
AIRCRAFT PILOT license.
The best word to describe
the experience of a
wing-in-ground effect vessel is, without exaggeration,
"phenomenal". It is unlike
any sensation you’ve ever experienced in your life.
Ground effect is created
due to the forward motion
of the vessel and operates practically on continuous cushion of air.
Wing-in-Ground-Effect crafts achieve speeds above 135 knots
(250 Kph / 155 Mph ) and fly below 10 feet over the crest of the highest wave for hundreds of miles without need to refuel hydrogen.
Compared to traditional aircraft and boats, Wing-in Ground-Effect vessels travel with unprecedented cost-efficiency.
First major experience of Ground Effect
Cruise speed: 250 mph / 220 kn
Range: 3,000 mi / 2,600 nmi
Payload: 300,000 lbs / 150 tons
Wing-in-Ground Effect (WIGE) vessels are a unique class of maritime craft that utilizes the aerodynamic principle of ground effect, where lift is enhanced and drag is reduced when flying close to the surface.
Unlike traditional aircraft or marine vessels, WIGE vessels do not require extensive runway or port infrastructure.

WIGE vessel ability to carry heavy payloads over long distances, coupled with the reduced regulatory requirements, makes them ideal for applications in coastal passenger transportation, cargo delivery, and search-and-rescue missions.
Most famous and powerful WIGE
ever built
Cruise speed: 267 mph / 232 kn
Range: 930 mi / 810 nmi
Payload: 1,199,316 lbs / 599 tons
The International Maritime Organization has studied the application of rules based on the International Code of Safety for High-Speed Craft (HSC code) which was developed for fast ships such as hydrofoils, hovercraft, catamarans and the like. In 2005, in conjunction with the Federal Aviation Association (FAA),
it was determined since the FAA only regulates flying vehicles above 50 ft., WIGE vessels
fall out of the FAA’s jurisdiction.
Why use Ground Effect, and why now? Recent advances in computing power, the availability and cost of composite materials, including carbon fiber, increased speed and lower costs of satellite communications, plus consumer demand for fast, novel means of convenient transportation all are making WIGE phenomena commercially viable and timely as the next big means of passenger and cargo transportation in coastal and island markets worldwide.
Global demand for green energy has never been stronger. The clean tech and green technology revolution that started over 20 years ago with electric battery start-ups has largely failed to reach critical mass quickly.
Hybrid battery solutions are not the ideal answer to our clean energy needs, but they gave birth to the concept of Hydrogen as a solution for powerful high-volume transportation at a fraction of today’s battery costs.
Sea Cheetah will play a leading role and demonstrate the value of Hydrogen derived from water, as well as the zero carbon emissions it leaves behind.
We generate ideas and act upon them.
Our small and effective business team consists exclusively of entrepreneurs that tried, failed, succeeded, and re-emerged in challenging corporate and entrepreneurial environments.
Sea Cheetah’s engineering and design teams are out of the box contrarian thinkers.
These are dreamers that have their heads in the clouds but feet firmly on the ground.
Our board of advisors consists of experienced professionals from various industries, engineering, hydrogen production, communications, design and other areas.
Each advisor views Sea Cheetah from their unique perspective, one that is practically invisible to the rest of the team. Our common goals are met with scrutiny and validation from each member of the team.
